Bagel and Pretzel
Our Bagel and Pretzel workshop offers the chance to make authentic New York Bagels
You will start by making by milling your own flour, using ancient heritage grains from our selection.
You will be adding a pre-ferment sourdough sponge, which will enhance the unique flavour.
Our Bagels and Pretzels incorporate a sourdough preferment, to enhance the nutritional value of the dough, and is an ideal way to get the benefits of healthy gut microbes.
You will make a perfect dough and boil before baking and topping with a delicious seed mix.
You will also make a pretzel dough, using a pre-ferment sourdough. You will shape the dough, boil in the dough in a baking soda bath. Finish with a wash, sprinkle Maldon salt and bake.
