Discover all there is to know about the art and science of sourdough baking and learn the tricks of the trade from an expert baker.  In order to show how sourdough is made from start(er) to finish, we will be providing two action-packed days of baking!Immerse yourself in a sourdough experience so you that you have the skills and knowledge at your fingertips and feel full of confidence.

Victoria will unlock the mysteries of sourdough and walk you through the process from start to finish.  Victoria uses a unique method of making sourdough which gives a softer loaf.  Learning Victoria’s methods for working the bread through all the stages of the process will allow you to achieve a perfect crumb structure, beautiful rise, delicious flavour, crisp crust and soft texture, giving you the ability to reproduce this for yourself.

You will make a variety of different breads using two different doughs, containing two different heritage grains from our selection.  You will also have the opportunity to mill some of these heritage grains in our specialist milling machine.  Running the course over two days also means you can leave your bread to prove overnight, for the full benefit of the fermentation process.
