Welcome to Canterbury Baking School
Canterbury Baking School offers practical, hands‑on cooking and baking classes in the tranquil Kent countryside. We specialise in sourdough and mill our own heritage grains on site to make fresh bread.
Our courses cover sourdough from beginner to master level, and we also run pizza making, pasta workshops, bagel and pretzel dough, sweet doughs, and Italian‑themed workshops throughout the year. We provide vegetarian and vegan cooking options, as well as short sessions on fermented vegetables and gut health.
You'll learn solid practical skills, gain a clear understanding of sourdough and fermentation, and build confidence in cooking with fresh, natural ingredients. Our classes are small and personal, designed for all levels—from absolute beginners to aspiring master bakers.
We're located in the Kent countryside with ample parking, offering a relaxed, informative, and hands‑on experience.
